Sallyanne Pisk joins us today to discuss Nine Drivers for Eating. We are the experts when it comes to our minds and bodies and what they need in terms of nourishment. We can give ourselves permission to enjoy our food and be nourished. It’s possible to start a new relationship with food by developing a mindfulness base to eating and living. Curiosity with mindfulness helps remove the judgment we impose on ourselves with our choices. Sallyanne also discusses the drivers for eating, including health, culture/religion, and emotional eating, to name a few. She explores how these drivers, which can be both positive and negative, affect us and our choices.
